Our journey began in 2005 when two passionate and long-time friends, Sarah Chada and Karen Ryan, with currently over 25 years of experience in the salon industry, decided to embark on a unique venture.

Having been part of the Aveda family for many years, it was a natural progression for Sarah and Karen to open their own salon, Urban Therapy. Our mission is to help you not only look your best but feel your best, all while respecting the world we live in. We pride ourselves in taking care of our customers, from a head and shoulder massage prior to your hair service to a relaxing hand and arm massage whilst your hair colour develops, we want you to leave our salon feeling relaxed and pampered.
